Announcing the 2014-2015 Season!

Come celebrate Seattle Modern Orchestra's fifth Season with us! Our programming is bolder and more exciting than ever before! This season we will present new works by two American composers - Huck Hodge and Kate Soper - as well as by our co-artistic director Jeremy Jolley.

We are also continuing our mission of bringing you the modern 'classics', like Pierre Boulez' Dérive I, Tristan Murail's Thirteen Colors of Sundown, Fausto Romitelli's Blood on the floor, Painting 1986 and Georg Friedrich Haas' Monodie. We're especially excited about our guest soloist this season - Graeme Jennings, former second violinist of the celebrated Arditti String Quartet with over 70 recordings and more than 300 world premieres! He will be playing Luciano Berio's Sequenza VIII for solo violin, as well as two concerti with the ensemble - Salvatore Sciarrino's Le Stagioni Artificiali and Franco Donatoni's Spiri.

You won't want to miss any of our concerts this season, and you can get a season pass to all three concerts for only $50 ($25 for seniors and students)! For detailed concert information, visit our concerts page.
